Professional aspirations
Davide likes to give shape to things. Pieces of wood to transform into furniture, foods to invent an unconventional dish, people and means to mix in start-ups, it makes no difference.
The important thing is that there is an underlying challenge. Observe scattered elements and ‘see’ the final result and the path to get there.
He has an economic education perfected thanks to a full-time MBA. He has twenty years of experience in various industries including FMCG, Marketing & Communication, Leisure and finally Lifescience. He has always been involved in development and innovation, covering increasingly complex roles up to direct company management.
One of his strengths is aggregating heterogeneous resources and skills on a common project.
After 10 years of work in the Patient & Market Access divisions of multinational pharmaceutical companies, in 2013 he decided to found HELAGLOBE with a clear goal: to improve the lives of “people with” pathologies through activities and projects capable of being a point of balance for all the actors involved (people with pathologies, institutions, patient associations, private industry).
Neapolitan, he lives in Florence with Cristina and their 3 beautiful children. In addition to loving reading and going to the cinema, he has a true, deep, carnal passion for cheese.
Why do I work at Helaglobe?
I decided to found HELAGLOBE to make a concrete contribution to improving the lives of “people with” (as I like to define those who have a pathology). For me, innovating does not mean making great discoveries but rather using known elements in a different way in such a way as to satisfy needs, which may seem small to us, but which have a strong impact on the daily lives of people with pathologies.
Three adjectives to describe yourself
Creative, resilient, competent.
Three salient personal characteristics
Curiosity, resourcefulness, reliability.
Three fundamental characteristics for those who carry out my role:
Empathy, patience, courage.
Inspirational character/s:
Marie Curie, for the tenacity of research despite hostile social conventions. Massimo Troisi, for his ability to make light of things in a poetic way. Wile Coyote, for the creativity and tenacity with which he pursues his goal.
My professional aspirations:
to consolidate HELAGLOBE as a reality made up of people who work towards a common goal, respecting each other and having fun.
My personal aspirations:
to attend, sooner or later, a haute cuisine course and open a restaurant with just one table that welcomes customers only on weekends.
My reference motto:
“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars” (Oscar Wilde)
